Can I freeze cream cheese? In my experience, the answer to this is a resounding NO. It won’t go bad or anything. But the texture is just never the same after it’s been frozen. Can I freeze cream cheese? Absolutely yes! This is much different than freezing a block of cream cheese on its own. Once it’s been mixed and baked into a cheesecake, it will freeze and then thaw out without a problem.
