Nutella Stuffed Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe December 15, 2021January 12, 2018 These cookies are golden on the outside and STUFFED with Nutella on the inside. With a touch of sea salt just for good measure! Confession: I did NOT make these cookies. My husband did. And they are OMG slap-yo-mama good. Chris likes to bake on Sunday afternoons with our daughter. Which I should think is cute, but really all I can think about are the dishes piling up and the flour going everywhere. Sundays are not my baking days– plus we usually eat dinner at my mom’s, so I always have this grand delusion that the kitchen can stay clean on just that one day. Hilarious. I know. So here’s the story of how these came to be and why I’m telling you to make them… A gal from my church brought these unreal Nutella stuffed cookies to our holiday cookie exchange last month. Several of us begged for the recipe, and she sent us here. I skimmed the recipe for a second, saw the words brown butter + chill + 2 hours. And I was like NOPE! I’m out ✌????. And then last Sunday rolls around, and my husband asks, “what kind of cookies should we make?” Disclaimer: I’ve been on a Nutella binge for about a month. And so I say, “You should make those Nutella stuffed cookies from the Christmas party! And I’m thinking– yeah right, in my dreams! But my husband is so different from me, y’all. He’s not in a rush and he doesn’t mind putting in the time. So he decides to go for it! He browned the butter and let it cool. He chilled the dough for TWO WHOLE HOURS. He remembered to chill the Nutella so it would hold up better during baking and make a perfect little Nutella pocket inside each cookie. That’s the kind of man I married you guys. ???? So yes… these cookies do require a little more TLC than the typical Something Swanky recipe. And this recipe doesn’t make a very big batch of cookies, since each individual cookie is JUMBO. Also, you will probably gain 10 lbs in a matter of hours. BUT I’m not joking when I say that these cookies are so. worth. it. Period. Mic drop.
Pumpkin Nutella Marshmallow Fudge Recipe September 24, 2024October 6, 2017 Pumpkin, Nutella, and marshmallow cream make this like no other pumpkin fudge you’ve had before! Warning! You are about to enter high addictive pumpkin territory. Let me start out by saying that this recipe is one of my all-time personal favorite pumpkin recipes. And you should know that I’m rather picky when it comes to pumpkin… I like it. And I like it as early in the year as possible. HOWEVER– I do not like weird pumpkin desserts. Tell me I’m not alone here, but there are just some things that pumpkin SHOULD NOT go in. Am I right?! For instance, it is my firm belief that pumpkin (as it REAL pumpkin) should not not go into anything not baked. I also have really strong feelings about pumpkin and oatmeal– that the combination should never happen ever. So when I saw some no-bake pumpkin energy bites recently, and I barely held it together. Even now, I’m kind of gagging in my mind ????. But different strokes and all that, right? Now that you know how picky I am about my pumpkin treats, you know that you can completely trust me as I gush over this amazingly fabulous pumpkin fudge. Which contains no actual pumpkin, just to clarify– because, again, pumpkin should be baked. In my humble opinion ????. The base of this fudge is actually a variation of my favorite 2-ingredient fudge, which is essentially 3 cups of chocolate melted together with 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk. It’s easy and simple, and it always turns out just right. For this recipe, I’m using 3 cups (about 2 bags) of Nestle’s Pumpkin Spice Morsels. In the past, I’ve used Hershey’s Pumpkin Spice Kisses to make this same fudge, but it was so unnecessarily tedious to unwrap 3 cups worth of Hershey Kisses when I could just dump out a bag of morsels instead! I find both the Hershey Kisses and the morsels at Target. Feel free to use either one you can get your hands on. Once you’ve made the 2-ingredient fudge base and poured it into the prepared pan, you need to act quickly to get the Nutella and marshmallow cream swirled in before the fudge begins to set. I went ahead and prepped two piping bags (you could even just use big zip top baggies) by filling them with the Nutella and cream. Once the fudge is poured, snip of the ends of the piping bags and squeeze little pockets of Nutella and marshmallow throughout the fudge. Swirl it all a little with a knife, and voila! Hands down, the best pumpkin fudge you will ever eat. I promise!
Baked Pumpkin Nutella Donuts Recipe December 15, 2021September 1, 2017 Perfectly baked pumpkin donuts coated with cinnamon sugar and topped with Nutella. My daughter knows no seasonal boundaries when it comes to her love of pumpkin. Regardless of the time of year, when we let her choose the dessert for family night– it’s always pumpkin pie. Always. Which is so funny to me, because she is an incredibly picky eater especially in regards to texture. And it took me until adulthood (and years of acquiring more adventurous palate) to appreciate a good pumpkin pie, because I always felt like it was kind of slimy. It is, after all, a cold pie made of squash. I feel like kids have a right to be a little leery when it comes to pumpkin pie. But not my girl! As much as I love a good pumpkin pie (now), I just feel like there is so much more fun to be had when it comes to pumpkin season. Pumpkin Monkey Bread. Enough said. Pumpkin Cornnread with Maple Cinnamon Butter. ohemgee. Pumpkin S’mores Cupcakes. Just yes. Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. Swoon. Pumpkin Oreo Cheesecake Bars. Need I continue?? I’d have to say, at the top of my pumpkin favorite recipes list is most definitely this one for pumpkin donuts with Nutella on top. Pumpkin + Nutella is the kind of flavor combination that dreams are made of. Initially, I thought I might make some sort of Nutella “glaze” or Nutella “frosting.” But then I realized… why mess with perfection? So I warmed up a bowl of straight-up Nutella and dunked my cinnamon sugar coated pumpkin donuts right in. And I didn’t regret it. No siree. If you’re ready to begin your fall baking (and really, who’s not??), may I suggest that you start right here. Dig out that pumpkin, ya’ll! It’s Fall! Almost ????.
Peanut Butter Nutella Banana Muffins Recipe July 11, 2024July 11, 2016 My mom’s famous banana bread muffins made with peanut butter and swirled with Nutella. We didn’t have a crumb left! If you need me to convince you that peanut butter and Nutella and banana muffins are a match made in heaven.. then you are possibly on the wrong site. ???? People ask me all the time what I do with all the treats I bake. All.the.time. I guess I should be flattered that people don’t take one look at me and think that I eat every single thing that comes out of my kitchen. But, oh, if they only knew how many of my baked goods never quite make it out the door to all the places I intend to send them. Well, I’d be horrified. So I’m glad that they don’t know. But what I’m confessing is: I eat a lot of it myself. Case in point: these muffins. I took one bite, and I was gone. Or rather… the muffins were gone! ???? Super soft, moist banana bread bursting with peanut butter flavor and swirled with Nutella. A LOT of Nutella. So, so, so, good. And so comforting! I don’t if it’s just me, but these are all flavors that just make me feel good and cozy on the inside. My mom’s banana bread always makes me feel that way. But adding the peanut butter and the Nutella added to that even just a little bit more. Of course, OF COURSE, the key to any great banana bread recipe is to use incredibly ripe bananas (how to quickly ripen bananas). Like, almost rotten ripe. I mean, if they’re moldy and leaking… then no. Gross. But soft and squishy and super brown– YES. Those are exactly the bananas we want in this recipe. Overripe bananas will add a tremendous amount of natural sweetener and moisture to any recipe. So we definitely want them in these. 🍌🍌🍌 CELEBRATE BANANAS with us: our favorite Banana Bread Recipes 🍌🍌🍌 My mom’s recipe that I’m basing this variation on typically calls for a little additional oil. But we’re going to skip that this time, since we’re adding peanut butter which will take care of the fat needed to help keep the bread soft. Plus, it tastes good ????. When it comes time to swirl in the Nutella, I actually like to step a little outside of the box here. Instead of just adding the Nutella directly to the batter, I actually like to mix it INTO a portion of the batter, and then swirl the Nutella batter into the remaining batter. Nutella batter = more Nutella taste = better. These muffins are great warm out of the oven. But like all banana bread recipes, they’re even better at room temp. Something about cooling and sitting for a while really gives the flavors a chance to stand out! Enjoy!
3-Ingredient Nutella Brownies Recipe April 29, 2024October 28, 2015 Rich and fudgy, these Nutella Brownies trump all other brownies! And the best part is that you only need three ingredients for this quick and easy recipe. You’ll never be tempted by a box mix again! If you’ve been in the food blog world at all today, then you know that many of us are paying a chocolate tribute to a very loved member of our community who unexpectedly passed away last week, Joan Hayes– or as you may better know her: Chocolate, Chocolate, and More. Joan and I met via an online blog conference a few years ago, had a few phone chats, and many, many Facebook conversations. Joan was a social media guru and was always willing to have a helpful chat with anyone about improving their Facebook page or Google Plus reach. She had the sweetest Southern accent you’ve ever heard, such a big heart, and a major love of all things chocolate. I think she would have LOVED these Nutella Brownies. What’s in a Nutella Brownie? Is there anything better in the world than homemade, fudgy, chocolate brownies? Hm. Maybe brownies made with Nutella with a tall glass of cold milk on the side. Yes? Well, it just so happens that’s exactly what we have here. A brownie in it’s fudgiest form, made up almost entirely of NUTELLA. This is my favorite brownie recipe as of late. And the best part? You don’t even need a mixer, it’s that easy. Nutella, eggs, and a little flour. Mix it all up together in a small bowl, bake, and voila! Best brownies ever. If you really want to get a little crazy and add even MORE CHOCOLATE, you could mix up a batch of this Nutella frosting to spread on top (excuse the poor photography in that post, it’s super old). Really though… these brownies don’t even need the frosting. They are rich and fudgy and decadent all on their own. Exactly the way Joan would have liked them ❤️.
