Maple Cinnamon Butter Recipe October 3, 2024November 21, 2017 Creamy, sweet, unbelievable maple butter with a heavy touch of cinnamon. Similar to the honey butter served at Texas Roadhouse, but the maple in this Maple Cinnamon Butter Recipe gives it a perfect Fall time flavor! Remember that time I freaked out about Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter and insisted that you leave your computer screen rightnow to go try it? And then I gave you the recipe to make it at home. Because we all need 24/7 access to that butter, right? Wellp. I made more. But in a slightly different way. This is Maple Cinnamon Butter recipe. And it is ah-mazing. Remember these Pumpkin Cornmeal Pancakes? They were like ground-shaking, earth-shattering, life-changing good. So I decided that I needed to make Pumpkin Cornbread this year. And I did (watch for that recipe to post soon)! Maple syrup was such a perfect compliment to those pancakes that I absolutely just knew that this cornbread would need to have some maple butter to go along with it. I just had this gut feeling that it would be utterly spectacular. I just love it when I’m right. ???? That being said, this butter totally stands on its own. Frankly, I could eat it with a spoon. But if you’re not a straight up butter eater (what’s wrong with you??), here are a few other serving suggestions: You could eat this maple cinnamon butter on toast. On pancakes. On muffins. On soft, buttery biscuits (omg, YES). Slather it on banana bread, pumpkin bread, and pretty much all breads ever. But most of all… watch for that pumpkin cornbread recipe coming soon!!! Because pumpkin corn bread + maple butter = ????.

Baskin Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip Copycat Recipe September 10, 2024June 8, 2017 It’s Ice Cream Week on Something Swanky and Crazy for Crust!* Click the links above to see all of our fun ice cream recipes from this week. ***Originally posted in July 2014 I’ve mentioned before that my husband isn’t a big fan of mix-in type ice cream places (like Coldstone). He’ll eat there if I make him go (I mean, it is ice cream, after all). But then, as we’re driving past the Baskin Robbins on our way home, he’ll heave a not-so-subtle sigh and gaze longingly at the rear-view mirror. I determined that our difference in opinion over ice cream shops is really the difference between liking hard or soft ice cream. He prefers hard scooped, I’d rather have something more along the lines of ice cream soup. I dunno… he’s probably in the majority there. But I can’t help it– I love soft, mushy ice cream full of big candy chunks and hot fudge. However, he has totally turned me on to Baskin Robbins’ Chocolate Chip and Mint Chocolate Chip ice creams. Because….. ohemgee. I am so in love with the way their “chocolate chips” aren’t really chocolate chips at all. Instead, it’s full of a thin pieces of brittle chocolate that ribbon throughout the ice cream. And it takes chocolate chip ice cream to an amazing new level. Just like the Stracciatella I mentioned last week, Baskin Robbins-style chocolate chip ice cream is achieved in the same way– by pouring chocolate (or in this case, Homemade Magic Shell) into the ice cream during the last 5 minutes of churning. This Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is SO easy and so yummy. Mint is one of my husband’s favorite ice cream flavors, but you could easily make this regular old chocolate chip ice cream by simply omitting the peppermint extract! I use a Cuisinart ICE-21 Ice Cream Maker to make churned ice cream, and far I’ve loved it. It’s pretty inexpensive (only $49!), easy to use, and makes delicious ice cream in about 20-30 minutes. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a simple, day-to-day use ice cream machine. Enjoy!
Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter Copycat Recipe September 24, 2024June 17, 2016 Creamy, sweet, unbelievably honey butter with a heavy touch of cinnamon. You’ll love this Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter copycat recipe I put together! You’ve been to Texas Roadhouse right? And you’ve inhaled a basket of their rolls smothered in this ridiculous cinnamon honey butter right? If you haven’t, stop what you’re doing right now, and GO. It’s ok. I’m not going anywhere. I can wait. Ok, AH-mazing, right?! Like, the best thing that’s happened to fresh, warm, yeasty bread E-V-E-R. And the best part is (who am I kidding?! the best part is how good it tastes!! But the NEXT best part is…) how easy this copycat version of Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter is to make at home. It tastes EXACTLY the same. And you get a whole lot more than the tiny little scoop they give you at the restaurant. Because we obviously need more butter than that!! First, you’ll need softened butter. Whip it into oblivion. Then add honey, cinnamon, and powdered sugar. And I like a little pinch of sea salt too, just to cut through all that sweet. Your waistline isn’t going to thank me for this, I won’t lie. But your tastebuds most certainly will! Enjoy this Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter responsibly!
