Mint Chocolate Chip Cake

Question & Answer

What is the best mint chocolate dessert?

This Grasshopper Poke Cake is legit the best mint chocolate dessert in the world! It’s cool and creamy and perfect.

How do you add mint flavor to chocolate?

The most important thing to remember is that a little goes a LONG way. Start adding mint to your recipe 1/8 teaspoon at a time and then continue to taste.

Another thing to remember is that there is a big difference between peppermint and creme de menthe. Make sure you’re using the one you want, otherwise you might have a dessert that tastes like toothpaste!

Why is mint ice cream green?

Mint isn’t naturally green, but it’s the color most people associate with the flavor (probably because the mint leaf is green). So the color green is added to many mint foods.
