Snickers Caramel Apple Salad

This Snickers Caramel Apple Salad is a hit at any gathering, no matter the time of year. But I especially love it in the Fall, because the apples are especially crisp and juicy! If you ever need a delicious side dish (that doubles as dessert) in a pinch, this is the perfect recipe.

Ingredients

  • 6 regular sized Snickers candy bars (or 2 cups of the minis)
  •  4-5 large crunchy apples (I like Granny Smith or Pink Crisps)
  •  3.5 ounce package vanilla instant pudding mix
  •  1/2 cup skim milk
  •  16 ounces Cool Whip
  •  1/2 cup caramel sundae sauce for topping

Note: my very ALL TIME favorite caramel sauce is Mrs. Richardson’s sea salt caramel dessert sauce. There is nothing that compares! Any caramel sauce will work in the recipe, but this one is seriously top notch. I can usually find it at most major grocery stores (most recently, Target).
