Whisk constantly until smooth, thick, and golden brown. Remove from heat and add the coconut and pecans. Mix in with a rubber spatula. Let cool slightly before topping cupcakes!

Hi! I just made this and it tastes so good! I live in a hot climate, and I won’t be using it until tomorrow- should I refrigerate this frosting until I’m reading to put it on the cupcakes? Reply
