My family fell in love with Italian Cream Sodas at my cousin’s wedding last fall. She had a cream soda bar at her reception, so we followed suit and had one at my brother’s wedding a month or two later.

For those Italian Cream Sodas, we just used normal, run-of-the-mill cream. We changed up the flavor using different syrups, which is pretty standard. It never crossed our minds to use different creamers to change up the flavors!

International Delight has over 20 irresistible flavored creamers that can really shake things up, including four Coldstone Creamery inspired flavors! I used the Coldstone Creamery Sweet Cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles to create a fun Hot Fudge Sundae flavored Italian cream soda.

It couldn’t be simpler to make: simply pour chocolate syrup into the bottom of the sundae glass, add ice, pour in club soda and creamer, do a little stirring, and top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and more chocolate syrup!

What’s my favorite flavor? I actually cheated a picked two. I die over the Cinnabon creamer every time I catch a whiff. But I couldn’t resist the Coldstone Sweet Cream flavor for so many fun ice cream inspired recipes!

Hot Fudge Sundae Cream Soda

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Chocolate Syrup + more for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp International Delight creamer, Coldstone Sweet Cream flavor
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • Optional: whipped cream and sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Pour the chocolate syrup into the bottom of a sundae glass.
  2. Add the club soda and creamer. Add ice cubes.
  3. Stir gently to mix the chocolate into the soda.
  4. Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and more chocolate syrup.
  5. Serves 1
