Party Popcon Saturday: Cran-Apple Cinnamon Popcorn Recipe
I'm baaaaaaaaack!!! With more popcorn, of course.
Are you guys so super excited for the holidays? Today is the official start of our family festivities, and I could not be more excited! Now that school is over, gymnastics is over, and my husband is almost to his vacation time, it's starting to really feel like the holidays.
You know what the holidays need? Popcorn. Obviously.
And a big, fat, awesome prize.
Ok, so let me explain how this is working again: I'm smack-dab in the middle of a 5-week series, during which I'm sharing my favorite photos and recipes from my book, Party Popcorn. AND, I'm setting up for an awesome giveaway that I'll be having on January 13 by sharing with you guys all the prizes I've got stocked up and ready to give away! Each prize coordinates with a recipe form the book, just for cuteness' sake.
Today it's a Cranberry-colored Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer (eeeeeeeeep!) and Cran-Apple Cinnamon Popcorn. Get it? Cranberry. Cran-apple. Brilliant, right?
Yep. Come back on January 13 for a chance to enter to win that little beaut. She'll be here waiting for you!
Beautiful photography by Jason Wyche.
I love this Cran-Apple Cinnamon popcorn (page 44 in the Party Popcorn cookbook), because 1) SO EASY. So easy. And 2) it's deliciously different than pretty much any other popcorn you'll ever try. It brings together some wonderful soft and sweet flavors using dried apples, dried cranberries, and cinnamon sugar. Plus, you've still got the crunchy, buttery, salty of the popcorn. It's a match made in heaven!
And again…. SO EASY! This recipe will take you maybe 5 minutes. Maybe. Like, if you're popcorn takes that long to pop.
So what are you waiting for? Grab a bowl of this popcorn and a Christmas movie– and then make some room for me on that couch!!
Enjoy the recipe today, and then come back on January 13 to enter to win this Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer plus 4 other awesome prizes, including a signed copy of Party Popcorn for each winner. And if you just can’t wait to enter the giveaway to check out the book, I understand. You can purchase Party Popcorn on Amazon, IndieBound, and at Barnes & Noble.
And don’t forget to watch for the next Party Popcorn Saturday post next week!
