Devil’s Food Cake, hot fudge sauce, chocolate Cool Whip Frosting, chocolate candy and chocolate chunks, and a magic shell drizzle right on top. I’m in the mood for a game, who’s in?? Tell me something about your yesterday… I made 4 dessserts and photographed them, all before church! …which we were late for. Of course. 2. What is the last book you read? I’m still in the middle of Overcoming Emotional Eating, by Geneen Roth. …Oh, I’m aware of the irony. Don’t you worry. 3. Are you the oldest, middle, or youngest child in your family? How many siblings? I’m the oldest of 6. 4. What’s something that makes you happy? New things. Any new things. I’m something of a spend-a-holic, and I just love buying and holding something new. 5. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? I’m a homebody, and I love to stay home! So out of all the places in the world, I want to be here in my home with my husband and daughter. 6. Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate! If you answered ‘chocolate’ to #6, you are definitely in the right place! I love getting creative with poke cakes, and this was was just way too much fun! Something I love about this one (and all of them really) is that you can play with the toppings so much here. Use any of your favorite chocolate toppings! Continue to Content Death by Chocolate BTS Poke Cake Print Ingredients 1 9x13 chocolate cake, prepared and cooled, still in pan 14 oz sweetened condensed milk 2 10-ounce Chocolate Cool Whip Frosting (in the freezer section) 1/4 cup crumbled Oreos 1/4 cup chocolate chunks 1/4 cup chocolate covered pretzels, broken Instructions Combine crumbled Oreos, chocolate covered pretzels, and chocolate chunks. Retain some checks for melting.Fold in chocolate Cool Whip frosting.Melt chocolate and drizzle on top.

1. I took my first Intro to Psychology class! 2. I just finished The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown, and I am currently reading I Am Ozzy by Ozzy Osbourne. 3. Youngest: I have one older sister. 4. crunchy Biscoff spread and taking pictures! (: 5. 1. I played with Isaac who turned 7 months yesterday, read this book I can’t put down, and that’s about it. It was lovely! 2. I’ll answer the questions! I don’t do this very often but I am curious… 1. Yesterday I had a chore list to do then spent the whole day look at recipes and drooling. Oh I cleaned the bathroom and the house was tidy but the list was long AND I didn’t do more than a few. 2. The last book I read was Naked In Death by JD Robb, I wanted to re-read the start of the series again. Now I’m reading #31 in the series Indulgence In Death. 3. I am the oldest of 2 in my family. 4. Something that makes me happy, seeing my children. I watch them jump off the bus each afternoon full of stories and happiness. Makes my day every time. 5. I’d love to go to Hawaii, Love to!! Why my h doesn’t look like a capital h, I have no idea…. like the number sign in question 2 doesn’t look like a number sign… Hmmm.. Nor the h in hmm… what am I doing wrong?!?! This will keep me curious for hours. 6. Chocolate as there really is NO other choice for me. PS- I am sooooooooooooo going to make that cake as it looks soooooo good! Reply

I LOVE when people do these fun games!! 1. My yesterday was definitely a case of the Mondays. I’m glad it’s over. 2. I just finished reading Last to Die by Tess Gerristen. It’s the newest in the Rizzoli & Isles series and since I love the TV show, I read all the books. 3. I’m an only child. But I do now have 2 older step-sisters, neither of whom I’m close to. We were adults when our parents remarried so… 4. Since it’s that time of year, college football season makes me extraordinarily happy. It’s the closest we get to feeling like fall since it stays in the 80-90s here until like January. 5. If I could go anywhere in the world, it’d be Europe. I really want to go to Greece, France, Italy and England. 6. If it’s a really good vanilla, then I’m a vanilla girl. But I love me a good chocolate dessert and this poke cake would qualify as one!! 1) I did the mounds of dishes I had leftover from the previous day. They were dishes that were well worth it though..many good blog posts to come 🙂 2) Ha, I’m seriously not a reader.
