My brownie batter dip was a surprisingly huge hit on my blog two years ago. Surprising, because I had never had a “hit” post before and my blog was basically an obscurity. But despite the fact that nobody knew who I was and really horrible photos (which have since been updated), the brownie batter dip made some serious movement around the web, which absolutely thrilled me!
I’ve made several other dips since then that I thought might be just as popular, but to no avail. Not even this Peanut Butter Cup Brownie Batter Dip (warning: more gross photos. Must update ASAP) or this French Silk Pie Dip (you guessed it… more bad photos), which are both personal favorites of mine.
Obviously, I need to update some of my old photography. But mostly, I think I just need to take a hint: keep it simple. Everyone loves brownie batter dip. No need to fancy it up too much or go on frantic dip-making crazes. Just stick to the good stuff, plain and simple.
This re-do of one of the most popular recipes on my blog is simple, for sure. But I think it might also be a little crazy. Why?
