Here’s What You’ll Need to Make These Turkey Thanksgiving Cupcakes

Cute, easy, and super sweet Turkey Thanksgiving Cupcakes. These are the perfect Thanksgiving day treat for both kids and grown-ups!

Tips & Notes for This Recipe

  • I’ve seen these turkey faces made with lots of different cookies, so you really have a lot of flexibility. I like the mini-dipped Oreos, personally. But you could also use Mini Oreos (not dipped), Mini Nutter Butters, or even just a big blob of chocolate frosting.
  • Candy coated sunflower seeds are AWESOME for cake/cupcake/candy decorating. They carry them at Trader Joes year-round, but I always find the Fall-colored ones in TJ Maxx and even in Target seasonally.
  • If you didn’t hang on to any candy corn from Halloween, no worries! You can still find Fall-colored candy corn in stores for a few more weeks.
