Triple Decker Brownie Pie Recipe
Layers of chocolate chip cookies, Oreos, and brownies inside a buttery pie crust. An EASY dessert recipe!
Let's talk pie.
Hallelujah, it's PIE SEASON!! Have you guys seen Pinterest? It's exploding with pie! I'm loving it. Just today I've pinned this Samoas Pie, a CREAM PUFF PIE!!!, this Peanut Butter Pie, and this gorgeous Pumpkin Silk Pie. No Thanksgiving is complete without pie, and the internet is plentiful with delicious recipes at this time of year.
Let me add another one to you list and introduce you to…. Slutty Brownie Pie.
That's right friends. Layers of chocolate chip cookies, Oreos, and brownies inside of a buttery, flaky crust. And the BEST part?? This pie is as easy to make as it is to eat. Maybe even easier, if that's possible! You can have this pie baked and ready to serve in under an hour.
All you need are these simple, store-bought ingredients:
Now, feel free to make adjustments here. Another nice thing about this pie is the flexibility you have with the ingredients.
For example, I used mini Oreos because that's what I had on hand. But Double Stuf would have been way better for visibility (you can't really see the cream in mine). Or Candy Cane Oreos would have been a lot of fun too! Or even Golden Oreos. You can play around a lot here.
And feel free to make your own chocolate chip dough and brownie batter. This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie dough and my favorite brownies if you're looking for great from-scratch recipes. I was going for time efficient, so I went with store-bought. Totally your call there.
I used about half the package of cookie dough and pressed it into the bottom of the pie crust. In retrospect, I could have probably used the entire package. Just sayin'. ????
Then simply add a layer of Oreos– as many as you'd like, just keep it an even layer. And finally pour the brownie batter over top!
Bake for about 45 minutes– it's ok if it's still ever so slightly under-baked when you pull it out. It will finish baking as it cools. Plus, who doesn't love a gooey brownie??
Serve it a la mode with chocolate and caramel sauce, and you'll have a Thanksgiving pie your guests aren't likely to forget!
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Press the pie crust into a deep pie dish.
Layer the cookie dough on the bottom.
Press Oreos in an even layer onto the cookie dough.
Mix the brownie batter according to the directions on the package. Pour batter over the Oreos.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, until toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
