If you’d rather make the cookie crust from scratch, half this sugar cookie recipe instead of using the cookie mix. You could also use chocolate ganache (cooled to room temperature) instead of the cream cheese frosting in this recipe. Yum!! I love that this recipe is SO simple. It calls for quick, easy ingredients that you may already have on hand! You can use any variety of fresh fruit that you enjoy. Make it colorful by using a lot of different fruits, or keep it simple and just use one or two of your very favorites (strawberries and blueberries for me please!). Ingredients: sugar cookie mix1 egg1/2 cup butter, melted8 ounces cream cheese, softened3/4 cup powdered sugarsliced fresh fruit (bananas, strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, etc…) How to Make This Recipe 1. Mix up the sugar cookie dough (just use the directions on the package). 2. Press the dough into an ungreased pizza pan. Bake according to the time and temperature on the cookie mix package. The cookie edges should be lightly golden brown. If they aren’t, add more bake time 2-3 minutes at a time. Note: Your baked cookie crust should NOT look like mine pictured here.
