Football Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods Ingredients 8 ounces baking chocolate, melted 4 ounces baking white chocolate, melted pretzel rods Directions Dip each pretzel rod in the melted chocolate and place on a piece of parchment paper to cool. Pour the melted white chocolate into a zip top bag and snip the corner (just a very tiny cut will do). Carefully pipe on the football seams. Let cool to harden completely. The Centerpiece Since I’m all about desserts, I decided to make an EASY layer cake the centerpiece for my tablescape. I love that it adds a new layer to the decor by using a cake stand. Southern Coca Cola Cake with Roasted Peanut Buttercream Ingredients 1 box devil’s food cake mix with pudding 1 cup Coca-Cola 1/2 cup Greek yogurt 1/4 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs Frosting 4 tablespoons heavy cream, chilled 2 cups cups confectioners’ sugar 3/4 cups butter, room temperature 1/2 cup creamy roasted peanut peanut butter vanilla Caramel PB Drip 1/4 cup peanut butter 3/4 cup caramel sundae sauce Directions Mix together the cake mix, Coca-Cola, Greek yogurt, vegetable oil, and eggs to make the cake batter. Divide the batter into 3 round cake pans. Bake for 30 minutes at 350ºF or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. Make the frosting by whipping the butter and peanut butter together. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add the whipping cream and whip until light and fluffy. Frost the cooled cake. Melt the 1/4 cup peanut butter in the microwave. Whisk in the caramel sauce. Spread the sauce on top of the cake and allow to drip down the sides.
