Which was super convenient, since I knew I had this Welch’s post coming up! I love it when my blog life and my home life come together, and they certainly do when it comes to Welch’s Natural Grape Spread. Like I said, girlfriend’s been eating sandwiches like it’s her full time gig. I make sure that she only eats my homemade bread, she only gets natural peanut butter, but the jelly… oh, the jelly. It’sΒ always kind of my hold up. It just seems so… you know… artificial. So, of course, I was thrilled to try out Welch’s Natural Concord Grape Spread. It contains no fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, no coloring, and no preservatives. I’ve been wanting to attempt a Peanut Butter and Jelly dessert recipe for a while now. I’ve done Peanut Butter and Marshmallows, Peanut Butter and Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal, Peanut Butter and Banana, and Peanut Butter and Caramel. But never Jelly! For some reason it’s always scared me to try and bring them together in a dessert. Maybe because they aren’t ingredients you can really mix. Just like in the sandwich, you have to keep them somewhat separate in order to really enjoy them together. Right? I thought Popcorn would be up to the task, and boy! Was it ever! Half of the popcorn is coated in peanut butter and white chocolate, and the other half is coated in Welch’s Natural Grape Jelly Spread and white chocolate. And then, after each half has cooled and the coating has set, you bring them together into one, perfect PB&J munch-time treat! Continue to Content PB&J Popcorn Print Ingredients 8 cups popped popcorn (I popped about 1/4 cup kernels for this small batch) 1 cup white chocolate, divided 1 1/2 tbsp. Welch's Natural Grape Jelly Spread 1 tbsp. peanut butter Instructions Divide Popcorn into two separate bowls. Over medium low heat on the stove top, melt 1/2 cup white chocolate with 1 tbsp. peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Pour over 1 bowl of the popcorn. Use a rubber spatula to mix well and coat thoroughly. Spread out on a silicon mat or parchment paper to let cool. Meanwhile, melt the remaining 1/2 cup white chocolate with 1 1/2 tbsp grape jelly over medium low heat on the stove top. Stir until smooth. Pour over the other bowl of popcorn, and stir with rubber spatula to coat well. Spread out on silicon mat or parchment paper to let cool. Once both batches of popcorn are cooled enough that the coatings are set, mix them both together in a bowl and serve! βI participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welchβs. We’ve been so addicted to gourmet popcorn at our house lately (as evidenced by all the popcorn I keep posting!) and this is definitely going on my list to try. I think we are going to have different kinds at our graduation party, too, and I’m sure this would be a hit! Reply

so fun! I use that brand of welch’s jelly all the time, love theres no high fructose syrup. My kids eat plain jelly sandwiches, go figure! love the popcorn idea! Reply
Adding the jelly to the white chocolate — SO genius. I’m a huge grape jelly fan and could eat PBJs like my job, too! Just no strawberry jelly–never been a fan, haha. Love this popcorn! Reply

Totally making this!!! My 3 year old has a peanut allergy but going to sub with Wow Butter or Sun Butter and see how it turns out. I’m thinking we’ll all be gobbling this deliciousness right up. Yum! Reply
Made this tonight for a party Sunday. I used strawberry jam instead of the grape and wow, is this stuff good! I don’t think there will be any left to have on Sunday! Reply

Just a novice question. How do you prevent the popcorn from getting soggy while you mix in the peanut butter+white chocolate or jelly+white chocolate deliciousness? Reply

It seems like about half of the feedback I’m getting is like this– I’d say try using some melting candy instead of chocolate, like Wilton’s melting discs (white). That will melt better, and harden better because of the wax in the candy. Reply
Popcorn and PB&J are my 7 yr old daughters 2 favorite things, so I made a batch of this today, thinking I’d surprise her with it for after school snack. She wasn’t impressed. Boo. My 16 yr old thought it was great! I thought it was good, Next time I’ll tailor it to me & use my raspberry jelly instead of her grape. Shared the recipe on my FB page. π ~ Mama Ging Reply
I made this today, just as directed, but my coating never hardened up on the popcorn. It stayed kind of wet. Any suggestions? Reply
Darn! I would try using a white candy melt instead of white chocolate– like Wiltons or maybe Almond Bark (although melting discs, like Wilton’s, are easier to measure). Those candy discs will harden a lot better, and they’ll melt easier too! Reply

Just made this and it tastes amazing! The pb popcorn is nice and crunchy but the jelly popcorn is a bit soggy and soft. I used 1/2 candy melts and half chocolate. Next time I will use more candy melts for the jelly popcorn. Thanks for the great recipe! My boys are loving this! Reply
