Our Week in Pictures + What I’m Loving
We had a fun and busy week! I am so grateful for all of the joy in my life :)
Starting with this sweet moment…
I was trying to squeeze in a “quick” photo shoot as we were on our way out the door somewhere. I tossed these two on the bed beside me in the office, giving Emma instructions to “here, keep him happy for a second, then we gotta run!” They sweetly and patiently sat on the bed together, letting me run around in my craziness.
When I glanced over my shoulder and saw how peaceful they looked (in the midst of my chaos!), I just had to snap a picture to capture that feeling. It was so simple and so sweet.
We got to meet our new little nephew and cousin! So we took all three kids out to the pumpkin patch for pictures.
Which reminded me of this little gem I took 5 years ago… I love this. Both my babies in the same place, same time of year, same age, and forced into the same my-face-is-smashed-on-a-pumpkin-and-I-can’t-sit-up pose.
We visited my cowboy brother on the farm, and Emma got to ride a horse!
We went on a hay ride that Emma did NOT want to go on, but later declared it to be “the best hay ride ever!”
What I’m loving…
DYING over The Pioneer Woman’s new kitchenware collection. I grabbed these three plates on a quick grocery run to Walmart, but I can’t wait to go back and take a closer look at the rest of her line. It’s all darling!
Last, but not least… I’m a Mormon and I’m loving General Conference! I like following the #LDSConf hashtag all weekend (although I was sad to see some “anti” posts this year), and these are some of my favorite quotes that people posted (mostly from Sunday second sesh)…
