Our Week in Pictures + What I’m Loving

October is just flying by, and I know I’m going to feel that way for the next 3 months. Such a fun (but EXHAUSTING) time of year. Yeah?

Anyway. Here are a few of our moments from this week:

I love this shot of Chris and CJ before the BYU-ECU game. Those football leggings just kill me.

Oh, big news here: I made the return to dairy and chocolate! Hallelujah. So I spent a couple of days eating my way through all the foods I’ve missed the past few months, starting with Goodberry’s Frozen Custard.

If you’re wondering, the baby seems to be doing just fine with me eating dairy and chocolate. There’s a little more spit-up, but nothing super crazy. We started feeding him cereal hoping to get a little more sleep at night (PS- didn’t really work), and when I saw how well he tolerated solids I decided to foray back into the world of chocolate and dairy again :)

My sister flew home for a few days this week. We decided to surprise Emma and hid Aunt Addy in her bed for her to find after gymnastics! I didn’t get any great pictures of the actual surprise happening, but I got a couple of cute “after” shots:

And, finally, we went to the State Fair…

Good times :)

What I’m loving…

KODIAK CAKES FLAPJACKS ON THE GO!!!!! You guys. These are EPIC. I discovered them last week at Target, and Chris and I are totally hooked. We’re trying to pace ourselves, because at $2 a pop they aren’t super cheap, but I could eat this cup of pancakes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all the snacks in between. We’ve tried Buttermilk & Maple, Cinnamon & Maple, and Blueberry & Maple, and they are all amazing (with real maple syrup in there).

It’s literally a cup of pancake mix that you add 1/4 cup of water to, stir, microwave for a minute, and eat right out of the cup. And it is the fluffiest, most delicious pancake I’ve ever eaten. Not exaggerating and not being sponsored to write about this brand. I’m really just that in love with it (and if you know me, then you know my pancakes are serious business!).

Plus they’re all natural, 100% whole grains, 10g protein, 3 g fiber, and 250 calories. I know. I totally sound like a commercial. But really guys. I love these.

I can’t seem to find these Flapjacks On The Go anywhere online to buy in bulk (not even on Kodiak’s website, which is weird), but I have found their Minute Muffins (same concept as these Flapjacks On-the-Go) and their boxed flapjack mixes on Amazon. I haven’t tried either of those, but I assume they are as good as the Flapjacks On-the-Go!

That’s it from me, have a great week!
