Pie Ideas for Your Crust

Recipe Tips & Notes

  • To cut down on dirty dishes, I crush the graham crackers in a large zip top bag. Then I add the butter (sliced) and brown sugar to the bag and toss the whole thing into the microwave. Microwave it for a minute and then seal up the bag (press out as much air as possible). Smush the crumbs, butter, and brown sugar together until all of the ingredients are combined to form the crust. Pour contents straight from the bag into the pie dish.
  • I find laying a sheet of foil over the crust makes it easier to press into the pie pan. Check out this IG video to see what I mean.
