Toffee Snickerdoodle Rice Krispies Treats

Toffee Snickerdoodle Rice Krispies Treats at

A few months ago, I mentioned in passing that Krispies Treats weren’t really my favorite desserts. Which is weird, because I’ve published SIX Rice Krispies Treats posts since then.

So I think I told a fib. It looks like I really like Rice Krispies Treats after all!

Toffee Snickerdoodle Krispies Treats from

Toffee and cinnamon are one of  all time favorite flavor combinations, and totally underrated by the universe. Frankly, I rate it right up there with peanut butter and chocolate! Seriously. It’s also great with white chocolate instead of milk chocolate, which you might not expect. And you should really check it out in dip form. All amazing, I tell you!

So here’s to adding another toffee-cinnamon recipe to the pile! I hope the universe picks up on my subtle hints…

Toffee Snickerdoodle Rice Krispies Treats

  • 1 - 10 oz bag miniature marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 - 8 oz bag Heath toffee bits (the kind with the chocolate in it, not Bit O' Brickle)
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon

  1. In a large bowl, microwave the butter and marshmallows for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Mix in the cinnamon.
  2. Use a large rubber spatula to mix the cereal into the marshmallow. Mix until thoroughly coated. Add the toffee bits and mix well.
  3. Press mixture into a well greased or parchment lined 9x13 baking dish. For extra thick krispies, press it into a 9x9 dish. Let cool for 30 minutes to an hour. Cut into 2 inch squares and serve.

Toffee AND snickerdoodle? I don’t know whether to love you for combining two amazing flavors, or hate you because my pant-size will inevitably increase. Amazing!

And I LOVE your intro picture! SO cute.

My favorite toffee/cinnamon recipe is cookies from Two Peas and Their Pod. They also have pecans in them!
