Actually, it’s not my favorite day of this week. Hang on and keep reading– I’ll get to it.
I have something very exciting to talk to you about today.
It’s not dessert related or even related to the blog– at all.

But since this is my blog, authored by me, I get to bypass desserts on occasion and tell you about my personal life :)
My favorite day this week is going to be tomorrow.
Well– tomorrow around midnight.
So, technically, Saturday.

Do you know who that is? I’ve posted his picture once before, maybe you remember. That’s my kid brother, Keaton. He’s coming home tomorrow after serving a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints, during which we don’t see him or talk to him. Just letters and emails– aside from one phone call on Christmas and Mother’s day.
Keaton is my second brother. The brother just older than him also went on a 2 year mission. Their missions overlapped– meaning: they haven’t seen each other (and the whole family hasn’t been together) in FOUR YEARS! Keat hasn’t even met his first and only niece (my daughter) yet– so it’s going to be an exciting homecoming and Christmas this year!!!
So please be understanding with me as my posts may be shorter than usual and/or sporadic as I will be spending a lot of quality time with the fam :)
