Welcome to Thursday!!!
I don’t usually love seeing product reviews on other people’s blogs–
it always seems so fake and commercial.
It’s like, “Holy Cow! This amazing product really works! I got mine for free because I’m writing this post, but it can be yours for the low price of one million gazillion dollars!!”
They’re kind of phony, right??
But I’ve got to tell you…
I absolutely jumped at the opportunity to review Zoku’s Duo Quick Pop Maker.
I almost died when I got the green light from the friendly folks at Zoku.
And then I tapped my toes at the front door every day for about a week waiting for it to come.
If you want a first hand account of how excited I’ve been, you can check out my
Instagram stream for proof!
So what’s so special about this popsicle maker?
The Zoku Duo Quick Pops maker makes popsicles in 7 minutes flat.
And then another 2 rounds of 2 popsicles before you even have to stick it back in the freezer!
Here’s how we’ve been using it in our home every single day…
She’s just learned how to sign “ice cream.”
It’s the first request she makes in the morning and the last one I see at night.
Our speech therapist has encouraged us to reward her verbal and signed requests as quickly as we can, just to show that her effort to communicate will result in a reward of some kind.
Thanks to my Zoku, I’ve been able to say:
“Oh, you want ICE CREAM? Well, ok! Let’s do it!”
Not only can I give her ice cream almost instantly– but I totally control what goes in it.
In the mornings I make her popsicles with yogurt, oatmeal, milk, and bananas.
(no need to start on the potential issues I’m creating by giving her “ice cream” for breakfast…
one issue at a time, people: speech first, ice-cream-for-breakfast later)
After naps, it’s usually just yogurt and milk. Easy!
Ok, so beyond incredibly quick and healthy pops for my daughter…
I can also whip up (healthy-ish) dessert popsicles for me in a flash too!!
Check out my recipes for Boston Cream Pie and Strawberry Shortcake Popsicles.
I am completely and utterly in love with this product.
And I’m dying for the millions of awesome accessories that go with it.
Any generous donors out there?? ;)

I couldn’t agree more with you on product reviews! The exception would be when the blogger REALLY loves the product. And who wouldn’t love this popsicle maker? I was totally hoping you’d be having a giveaway, darn. :) Guess I’ll just have to go buy one. It’s been in my Amazon wish list for a little while now…

This does look like a great product! I’m going to check into it. I’d love to get one that makes at least 4 at a time.
