Sweet Treats and Swanky Stuff Link Party + Meet the Contributors: Becca

Happy Thursday, y’all! So glad to have you here.

Especially because it’s time to introduce another one of my Collections Posts Contributors!

Becca, from Crumbs and Chaos, hardly needs an introduction around these parts, as she’s already been made pretty famous by posting delicious recipes like Brownie Batter Dip and Oatmeal Toffee Bars. Plus, the sisters post ridiculously awesome recipe collections every Friday called 5 on Friday.

Becca describes herself as a mother of four, Christ follower, lover of food (thank goodness, right?), energized by a great cup of coffee, kitchen gadget collector, and a blogger. And she’s the sweetest blogger you’ll ever meet.

I added that last one myself :)

Make sure to swing back by on Friday and check out the fabulous post Becca has put together!

Sweet Treats and Swanky Stuff Link Party Sponsored by: Big Kitchen

A big thanks to Big Kitchen for sponsoring today’s link party!!

Big Kitchen is pretty much one of my favorite online places to hang out. They’ve seriously got everything you need to cook and bake with. Seriously. Everything.

Let’s say, for example, you’re baking 2 dozen cookies, 1 dozen cupcakes, and 4 mini loaves of bread all in one afternoon (sound familiar to anybody else??). Besides the fact that you are now covered in butter and sugar, your kitchen is a wreck, and you’ve got chocolate in between your toes (for reals. it’s happened.)– you probably don’t have enough cooling racks for all of that stuff.

And it’s not like you even really want to own enough anyway, because where would you store a bazillion cooling racks??

The solution, of course, can be found on BigKitchen.com: an expandable cooling rack.

It’s really, very awesome. I’ve been putting it to the test for a couple of weeks now.

four. dozen. cookies.

And I do mean, putting it to the test. If you follow me on instagram– you’ve already seen it hard at work!

Here are some of the official specs from the website:
  • Chrome plated steel
  • Expands to over 3 square feet of cooling space
  • Provides the same space as 3 cooling racks
  • Slides back for easy storage with no parts to lose
  • Dishwasher safe

My favorite feature is how easy it is to slide open and close. I have a bad habit of grabbing a cookie sheet out of the oven before I’ve prepped anywhere to lay it down. With this rack, I can grab it and fully extend it with one hand (without dropping the sheet of cookies in the other hand), set the hot baking sheet down on one end of the rack while I spatula off the cookie onto the other end. Easy peasy!

Have I mentioned that BigKitchen.com is awesome? I’d better mention it again. Because they are so awesome that they are giving away an expandable cooling rack to one of YOU!
