Sorry to have missed Skinny Saturday last weekend! But after all of the packing and moving and sorting and cleaning and unpacking, I was sort of like I-really-don’t-care-if-I’m-skinny-or-not-I’d-rather-just-die!
But things are a little better this week, and I’m back to wanting to be skinny again! I’m a little nervous for my weigh in next week. I have a really small goal that I want to meet (just to be in the 170′s), and I know I’m close. But I’m going to have to be really good all week to meet that goal. No mess up days! And I really need to exercise every day.
The problem with that is: exercising is a little tougher than usual. My left foot still hurts from [what I think is] plantar facciitis. Although it held up to a 1 mile test run okay– it still hurt the next morning, but I could put pressure on it. Which is more than I could say for it the last time I ran! Unfortunately, I also managed to hurt the ankle on my other foot while hanging curtains yesterday. So basically I can do Pilates… which I really enjoy. But it’s not much of a calorie burner :( .
Ah, well. C’est la vie, right!?
And in the meantime, I’ll just get skinny by eating s’mores. Which sounds much more pleasant than exercising anyway! Kidding, kidding… sort of.
I can’t say that this is some impressive recipe… in fact it’s barely a recipe at all! But it’s a tasty little treat to keep in the back of your mind for the next time a s’mores craving hits! I’m calculating this at 128 calories (because *cough* I’ve *ahem* switchedcountingmethods *cough* again…) per s’more.
These were inspired by my very favorite S’more… Caramel Filled Ghirardeli Samoas S’mores. If you’re less concerned about the calories, you should for sure check that one out!
