I’m sort of a sucker for Pepperidge Farm Cookies, and Sausalito cookies have long been my favorites.
Hope you enjoy this recipe!
Sausalito Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c chopped almonds
- 1/2 c toasted coconut
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer with a paddle attachment.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto a lined cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 9 minutes.
PS- For those who read this post, just letting you know that my brother made it home safe and well, and we’ve had a wonderful reunion weekend

an honorable RM ! i remember when my brother’s returned home with honor and my son returned home with honor. seeing your photo brings the mother emotions up when i saw my mighty son. i couldn’t wait to hold him in my arms again…that security glass in the airport seemed to go on for miles and miles..
