Perfect Ganache {How To}

I love chocolate ganache. It’s decadent, it’s versatile, and it’s easy. So, in an effort to make today a little less Monday-ish, I’m declaring today Chocolate Ganache Day– and will be providing you with the key to making chocolate ganache perfectly, every single time
Want the secret? Here it is: don’t follow a recipe and DON’T MEASURE ANYTHING.
Yep. That’s it. Let me show you:
{pour desired amount of chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl}
{pour in heavy whipping cream, 
just level with the chocolate chips}
{microwave for 1 minute, remove and whisk until smooth}
Super duper delicious served warm over ice cream (or just about anything, who are we kidding?). 
It’s also fantastic for truffles– simply refrigerate, scoop out into balls, and dip in chocolate!

  1. Whoa! Yummy yumminess :) This ganache must be incredibly good :) I just wonder wheter it’s possible to use chopped chocolate instead of choc chips – they’re not available in my country :/

  2. @Catalina Absolutely. I’m sure you could use chopped chocolate!! I’ve found that semi-sweet chocolate works best.

  7. @Lindsey Lu I have yet to follow a recipe for ganache and have it turn out well. I swear the secret is just eyeballing it. A recipe invariably screws it up for me!!
