I’ve been seeing S’mores stuff all over the grocery stores.
And I’ve been getting excited. I love s’mores.
(check out my s’mores pin board here)
But I kept telling myself to just wait.
Just wait for S’mores Season. It’s not here yet!
But then, as luck would have it, I discovered that Cookies and Cups is doing S’mores week this week with a big S’mores link party at the end!Β
And, in my book, if Shelly says it’s time for S’mores, it’s time for S’mores.
So hello, S’mores Season.
It’s nice to see you, old friend.
Let’s celebrate with Nutella S’mores Crepes πŸ™‚

Nutella S’mores Crepes

Ingredients:
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Nutella, miniature marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers to fill crepes.
Instructions:
  1. Whisk together, until smooth, all ingredients except for the filling ingredients.
  2. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Grease the pan and pour in about 1/3 cup of the batter.
  4. Rotate the pan in the air so that the batter spreads in a thin even layer.
  5. Let cook for a few minutes until the edges curl.
  6. Either pull it off the pan now or you can flip it and cook it for a second or two on the other side (not necessary, but that’s what I like to do).
  7. Spread Nutella over half of each crepe. Sprinkle with Graham Cracker crumbs and Miniature Marshmallows.
  8. Place crepe(s) on a baking sheet and heat under the broiler until marshmallows are golden. Take them out as soon as the marshmallows start to toast or else you’ll burn the crepe!
  9. Fold into quarters and enjoy!

*Tip: remove pan from the heat for a few seconds in between each crepe. This will keep the pan from getting too hot and burning the crepes.

    3. Something happened to me at birth and I don’t have a s’mores lovin’ gene. I KNOW, I’m obviously deranged here! But regardless of my s’mores birth defects, this crepe looks fantastic. So gooey and melty and perfect. Yay, S’mores week!

    6. I made these with raspberries instead of marshmallows and grahams and it was DIVINE. (I’m not a huge s’mores fan. And I figured fruit was a good way to create an excuse to eat these for breakfast.) πŸ™‚ The raspberries became syrupy due to the heat. YUM.
