I love chocolate and cinnamon.

Mexican Hot Chocolate is one of my favorite winter treats–
and with cinnamon marshmallows and cinnamon M&Ms on the shelves this year,
I knew I had to make rice krispie treats!
And, even better, I heard a rumor that the cinnamon M&Ms are on clearance at Target this week!
(if you can’t find cinnamon marshmallows or cinnamon M&Ms in your store, just substitute in 1 tsp of cinnamon with regular marshmallows and use plain M&Ms)

  1. Oh for the love of Rice Krispies. My serious downfall. I can’t make a krispie treat snack in this house unless it’s to go somewhere…otherwise I have been known to eat half a pan (or more, no joking)!! These look awesome.

  2. Mexican chocolate and Rice Krispie Treats… I love both, so together they have got to be just wonderful. If you are adventurous you can add a pinch of cayenne to your chocolate as well. I can’t tolerate very spicy stuff, but a little gives you a bit of a glow… kinda warms it up just a bit. Adjust according to taste obviously! 🙂
