Hershey Kisses in Christmas flavors are some of my all-time favorite ingredients to bake with. I’ve been in love with the Candy Cane Hershey Kisses since way before my blogging days. They’re everything you expect Christmas to taste like in a cute, little kiss-form.
Stuffing them inside an Oreo is the natural thing to do.
It simply makes good sense.
These are definitely going on my Christmas Cookie roster.ย
They’re SO easy, quick to make, and leave no dirty dishes behind!ย
Did I mention they’re fabulously delicious?
{I probably could have sold you on just the “no dirty dishes part” if you’re anything like me!}
Kiss Stuffed Oreos
These are so easy, I’m not even going to bother with writing an actual recipe– I’ll just give you a few brief instructions and some pictures:
Twist the Oreos apart and scrape off the cream (you can leave it, obviously, if you want. I chose to leave the cream on for the candy cane kisses, but after some taste-testing, I decided I like these better without the cream).ย
ย Place half of the cookies on a lined baking sheet and top with your favorite Hershey Kisses– I used Candy Cane, Mint Truffle, and some Rolos (they hold up to the “smushing” a little better than the Caramel Filled Kisses). Place baking sheet in a preheated oven (350ยบ) for 1-2 minutes, until Kisses are slightly melted.
Top each Kiss with another cookie. Let cool to harden.
Easy, right?
And now, I believe I promised you some inside-out Thin Mints?ย
Drum roll please…
The Mint Truffle Kiss Stuffed Oreos taste just like Thin Mints– just with the cookie on the outside!
There you have it: the easiest, no-mess DIY Thin Mint Recipe!
Enjoy your cookie-making this Holiday Season!ย
And if you’re crunched for time (which I doubt, I’m sure you’re all just sitting around looking for things to do to fill your slow days), I think you’ll find this Kiss Stuffed Oreo recipe very helpful ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, and did I mention that they’re still milk’s best friend and they make adorable jar gifts??

  1. OMG! Just saw your link on 33 Shades of Green and jumped over to your blog. I’m obsessed! What a fabulously easy idea. It’s exactly the type of recipe I need for this Fridays holiday party at work. People will never believe how quick they took me to make! Thanks for sharing this.

  2. I just made these as part of the goodie bags for teachers, sports instructors, Sunday School teacher, bus driver gifts…whew! And they are tasty! Any suggestions on what to do with the cream I scraped off? I had a delicious dessert once at a party that was made with the cream but had no chocolate portion of the oreo in it but I can’t find a recipe online similar to it now..

  3. Is there a reason you have to scrape the icing out of Oreos and not use it instead of buying cookies that don’t come with icing? I know I’m being nit-picky, but it seems like a waste.

    • A) I couldn’t find any chocolate wafer cookies with no cream in my store, figured others might have the same issue, B) My husband liked the cream in, and C) Oreos rock my Socks with or without cream ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Great yummy idea- combining Oreos & Hershey Kisses- what a “marriage”! My question is, once these creations are assembled & cooled, what is the best way to store them so the cookie-part stays crisp? Thank you!
