This stuff is outrageously delicious. Seriously. It’s amazing. I could drink this sauce from a jar and not even feel bad about it. My favorite way to eat it is poured over a homemade ice cream cake sandwich (like I did here).
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 6 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 3 c. granulated sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
Instructions
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in cocoa powder until dissolved.
- Add granulated sugar 1 cup at a time, stirring well in between additions.
- Add can of evaporated milk. Whisk well until sugar is dissolved and sauce is smooth and beginning to thicken (will continue to thicken as it cools).
